About me

Hi, I’m Mia, the found of Fusion Exercise Physiology. I have always felt a strong calling to help others in some way. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in the medical field. Initially, I pursued paramedics, but halfway through the degree, I realised it wasn’t quite the right fit. I then looked into physiotherapy, which led to my discovery of Exercise Physiology—a field where I learned about the endless, life-changing benefits of movement.

Over the years, my passion has grown into a commitment to helping others transform their lives through movement, habits, lifestyle changes, and personalised care.

How did I get here

My personal experiences and interactions with countless individuals led me to dedicate my career to helping people feel truly heard and supported. I saw how often people with invisible illnesses or chronic pain were dismissed or handed cookie-cutter treatment plans that didn’t address their unique needs.

That’s why I focus on creating tailored approaches that work with your body—not against it. Every program is built around your goals, your capacity, and what you enjoy. My approach prioritises collaboration—you’ll always have a say in your plan, and I’ll guide you every step of the way.

My Goal

My mission is simple: to empower you to live a healthy, happy life despite the challenges you may face. Whether it’s managing symptoms, reducing flare-ups, or regaining the ability to handle day-to-day tasks that once felt daunting, I’m here to help.

No two journeys are the same, and I believe in honouring that individuality. Together, we’ll build a path that prioritises your quality of life, helping you feel stronger, more capable, and more in control.

My Experience

Over the years, I’ve developed a strong focus on supporting individuals with invisible illnesses and chronic pain conditions. My experience includes working with conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Fibromyalgia, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME) and more. I am passionate about continually expanding my understanding in these areas to provide the best care possible. My goal is to truly listen to your unique challenges and guide you toward personalised solutions that help you feel supported, capable, and in control of your health.

If you’re looking for someone who will listen, understand, and create a personalised approach to help you feel your best, I’d love to work with you.
